Masterpet Australia Pty Ltd ACN 000 333 353 and its related bodies corporate ("Masterpet", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information that you might provide to us.
The personal information you provide to us will be managed and stored in a secure and responsible manner and in accordance with the National Privacy Principles set out in Schedule 3 to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in relation to the collection and disclosure of information regarding individuals in Australia.
We may disclose personal information to third party suppliers who are providing services necessary to conduct our business. This may include printing, mailing, market research and website development.
2. How we collect your information
Personal information is information that identifies you or could identify you, such as your name, address, phone number and email address.

- purchase goods and services from Masterpet;
- register as a Masterpet customer;
- sign up to receive special offers, enter competitions, to receive newsletters or any information requested by you; or
- contact Masterpet, send general enquiries or provide feedback to Masterpet.

Masterpet may disclose your personal information to its related bodies corporate, to third parties that supply products or services to Masterpet, and as otherwise set out in this Privacy Statement. We will not disclose your personal information to any other third parties without your approval.
Masterpet may perform some of its data processing of your personal information outside Australia, for example in New Zealand. To do this, Masterpet may transfer your personal information to other countries, including New Zealand. By providing personal information to Masterpet you give your consent to this transfer of your personal information. We may recover from you our reasonable costs of supplying you with access to this personal information and your request to provide access to this personal information will be dealt with in a reasonable time. If we refuse to provide you with access to the personal information, we will provide you with reasons for the refusal and inform you of any exceptions relied upon under the National Privacy Principles.

Information collected by Masterpet from time to time may be used:
- to provide you with goods and services as requested;
- Market & consumer research to improve our services;
- to register you as a Masterpet customer;
- to provide you with information and notifications regarding Masterpet, such as competitions and special promotions conducted by Masterpet;
- to respond to your questions or suggestions;
- for internal research; and
- if permission is given by you, to send you marketing materials.
6. Our legal obligations
Masterpet may be required by law to disclose information you have provided if it believes that such action is necessary (a) to comply with applicable laws, (b) where Masterpet has reason to suspect that unlawful activity has been, is being or may be engaged in, and (c) to act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Masterpet, the Website or the public.

Masterpet reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Statement at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes to this statement or in how Masterpet will use your personal information, Masterpet will display such changes prior to implementing the change.
